Health and Wellbeing

We work with salons and barbers.

Clients book the stylist they can see, not the one they have to guess at. Your website is where trust forms before they ever step through the door.

Most salons in Surrey operate on referrals, Instagram and a booking system someone set up years ago. That works until it does not. When someone new to the area searches for a hairdresser in Cobham or a barber in Guildford, the salon that shows up, looks good and lets them book in two minutes gets the client. The one that does not show up does not.

A salon website does three things. It tells a potential client what kind of place you are. It shows them the work. It makes it easy to book. Most salon websites do one of those things adequately. Getting all three right is where the real difference is.

We work with hair salons, barber shops and beauty businesses across Surrey who want a site that reflects the standard of their work and brings in clients who would never have found them otherwise.

Common problems

Where salon and barber websites in Surrey lose clients.

01

No presence beyond social media.

Instagram shows your work but it does not own your bookings. A business with no website, or one last updated in 2019, is invisible to anyone searching on Google. Social platforms change their algorithms, reduce reach and can suspend accounts without warning. A website is yours.

02

The booking experience is buried or broken.

Most people decide to book a salon online, not over the phone. If your booking system is buried three clicks deep, redirects to a slow third-party page or is just a phone number, you are losing people at the point they were ready to commit. The easier the path to booking, the fuller the diary.

03

The portfolio does not show the work.

A gallery of stock images or blurry phone shots does not sell haircuts. Well-photographed real client results, with some indication of the stylist behind the work, is one of the most effective things a salon website can have. People want to see exactly what they will get.

Why it matters

“Clients who can see your work, read about your stylists and book in two minutes are worth far more than clients you have to chase by DM.”

“We had a decent Instagram following but nothing else. The new website put us on the map for searches in Cobham and the surrounding area. We now get new clients every week who found us on Google rather than through referrals alone. The online booking integration has made a real difference to how full our diary is.”

FAQ

Salon and barber websites, answered.

The questions salon owners and barbershop directors ask us most often, before they brief a project.

What should a salon or barber website include?

A clean services menu with prices, online booking that opens directly without a 14-step funnel, real photography of the actual salon and your team's work, brand logos for the products you stock if those drive revenue, opening hours that are correct, and a tone that matches your client base rather than generic salon copy.

How long does it take to build a salon site?

Most single-site salon projects launch within 3 to 5 weeks of kick-off. Multi-site groups take longer. The biggest delay is usually photography. Stock images of generic salons fool nobody.

Can clients book appointments online through the site?

Yes. We integrate with the platforms salons actually run, including Treatwell, Fresha, Booksy, Phorest and Timely. Online booking now drives the majority of new client appointments for most independent salons. Burying it behind a 'Book Now' page that opens a form is leaving money on the table.

Should the site show prices clearly?

Yes, with a small caveat. Show base prices for your standard services. For colour or longer treatments where price varies with hair length and complexity, show a 'from' price and explain why it varies. Hiding prices entirely sends people to your competitors who do show them.

How do we rank for hair salon searches in our town?

Local SEO is built into the site from the start: separate pages for the services that drive bookings, schema markup that flags you as a hair salon in your specific area, Google Business Profile reviews surfaced on the site, and on-page content that uses the language clients actually use. Movement takes 2 to 4 months for less competitive towns.

Areas we cover

We work with salons and barbers across Surrey, from large town-centre salons to independent barbers in smaller market towns. The towns with a strong independent salon market include Cobham, Esher, Weybridge, Walton-on-Thames, Godalming and Farnham, though we work across the county.
